1960s Vox Soundcaster Scratchplate / Wiring Loom

Manufacturer: Vox

Part Type: scratchplate

Nice condition Vox Soundcaster (UK, JMI) scratchplate with complete wiring loom (except pickups). Full working order. All three pots date to February 1965. It is in pretty good shape for its age, but naturally has small surface scratches and minor screw marks, but no breaks, splits or missing tips.

Loom consists of three pots, 3-way switch and output jack. Egen brand pots with date code BM (Feb-1965 - see potentiometer date codes).

Very rare item. The Vox Soundcaster was JMI's top-of-the-line model, and few were shipped. Finding original Soundcaster parts is not easy, especially in this condition.

Note: the final image below shows this scratchplate on the body it originally came from - this is NOT included in the sale but is available separately here.

See the other Vox Soundcaster parts listed for sale on this site, many of which came from this guitar (tremolo and body).
