Gibson bass bar bridge, nickel early 1960s

Manufacturer: Gibson

Part Type: bridge

This is the early nickel plated bar bridge as used on early 1960s Gibson EB0, EB2 and EB3 basses, as well as the Epiphone Rivoli and Newport circa 1961-64. Note the straight 'arms', differentiating it from the later version (with rounded arms). This bridge will fit some later basses, but is the correct part for the earliest examples. Very hard to find part. This one has some surface wear, as to be expected from a 55 year old part, but is complete and fully functioning. Both hex screws are present and turn easily. The two bridge posts are also included, and in good condition, though with some adjustment wear around the slots.
