Gibson EB3 Pickguard (1967-69)

Manufacturer: Gibson

Part Type: scratchplate

This is a late 1960s Gibson EB3 bass scratchplate. It is the correct size for these years only - ie the pickup cutout is 54 mm - correct for the late 1960s EB humbucker without a plastic surround. This is the same size as the EB0 bass, and will work for that model, but it is  five-ply (black-white-black-white-black) , as fitted to the EB3 only; the EB0 was three ply, black-white-black. Original vintage US Gibson part.

Great condition, obviously some useage wear, but no split mounting holes or missing tips. There is an extra small screw hole that does not go all the way through just below the left hand side fingerrest hole. This is covered by the fingerrest when mounted so will not be visible.
