1970s Gibson EB0 / EB3 jack plate

Manufacturer: Gibson

Part Type: other

This is a jack plate used on the slotted headstock Gibson EB basses circa 1970-71. That is the EB0, EB0L, EB3 and EB3L. Three-ply black/white/black. This mounts on the side of the bass, rather than the front as was the case with basses prior to, and after, this period. As such it has a slight curvature. Condition is pretty good - this will function no problem. But look closely -  three screw holes have very small splits due to overtightened screws. Despite this, the plate is solid and nowhere near breaking. There is other useage wear as expected with an almost 50 year old piece of plastic. Please examine images closely before purchasing.
